My Story

My story is a little interesting. At one point in time, I met my ex and fell in love. I learned that she had two boys and at the time, they were 5 and 6. My ex became pregnant and we were soon to have three kids. I loved the idea, an instant family as well as a baby to add to the family. After about five years of being together, my ex decided it was time for her to go off and play. She really didn't want anything to do with her kids, she wanted her freedom! As the boys left to go live with my ex's mother, because I couldn't keep them with me, my daughter and I were left alone. The best part of this whole part, is that I gained custody of my daughter without a fight.
Now the hard part started. I ended up moving in with my parents. Luckily, I have some amazing parents that were there for me and encouraged me as well as helping me in any way that they can. But, I still had to do things on my own. I decided to go back to college online and dove into it. Now, going to school full time, working full time and raising my daughter provided a lot of challenges. I turned to the interenet for help. What a surprise I had when I couldn't find help for single fathers. What I found was a whole lot of help for single mothers. This sparked an idea in my head to create a web site to help single fathers. The problem I had at that moment in my life was time. Now I have the time to create the web site and help single fathers as much as I can. I decided to live off of my savings and dive right in and create this web site. The biggest problem I have now is that, it takes a great deal of effort to create this site. Second, I am not getting paid anything yet. I am learning how to do a lot of this and most of it is trial by error! But, I have the passion, the drive and desire to help single fathers. I have the ambition and determination to make a difference in this world.
Well, that is my story. My story is what is driving me to create this site. I just hope that I create this site to everyones expectations. I also hope that I create a site that actually helps everyone too! Thanks for taking the time to read my story, stopping by my site, and hopefully you are participating in the many avenues that I have created, as well as receiving help for yourself! Thanks - Bob
